How do I track my package? ▼
Visit the DottExp homepage and enter your tracking number in the Track Your Shipment box. Your tracking number starts with DTX and can be found on your shipping receipt or confirmation email.
My tracking hasn't updated in a while — is that normal? ▼
Tracking updates occur when your package reaches each processing checkpoint. In between facilities, there may be gaps of several hours with no update — this is completely normal. If tracking hasn't updated in more than 48 hours, please contact our support team.
What does "Out for Delivery" mean? ▼
"Out for Delivery" means your package has left our local facility and is on the delivery vehicle. It will be delivered to your address that same day, typically between 8 AM and 8 PM local time.
What happens if I'm not home for delivery? ▼
If no one is available to accept the delivery, our driver will leave a delivery notice. You can then schedule a redelivery, authorize a safe location, or pick up the package from your nearest DottExp facility. We'll hold packages for up to 7 business days.

What's the difference between Priority Overnight and Standard Ground? ▼
Priority Overnight guarantees next-business-day delivery by 10:30 AM and is ideal for urgent items. Standard Ground is our most affordable option with 3–7 business day transit times, best suited for non-urgent shipments. See our Services page for full details.
Do you ship internationally? ▼
Yes! DottExp ships to over 220 countries and territories worldwide. Our International Express service includes door-to-door delivery, customs clearance assistance, and real-time tracking across every border.
What items are prohibited from shipping? ▼
Prohibited items include hazardous materials, explosives, illegal substances, live animals (without special permits), perishable foods (without cold chain service), and counterfeit goods. For a full list, please contact our support team.
What is the maximum package size and weight? ▼
For standard services, packages can weigh up to 150 lbs and measure up to 165 inches in combined length and girth. For larger shipments, our Business Freight service handles pallets and oversized cargo with no fixed weight limit.

How do I file a claim for a damaged or lost package? ▼
Visit our Contact page and select "File a Claim" as the subject. Claims must be filed within 60 days of the ship date. Please have your tracking number, photos of damage (if applicable), and proof of value ready.
Are my packages insured? ▼
All DottExp shipments include up to $100 in declared value coverage at no extra charge. Additional insurance can be purchased at the time of shipping for items with higher declared values. Business account holders may have different coverage terms.
How long does a claim take to process? ▼
Most claims are reviewed and resolved within 5–10 business days. Complex cases involving high-value items or international shipments may take up to 20 business days. You'll receive email updates throughout the process.

How do I open a business account? ▼
Contact our sales team via the Business Account inquiry form. A dedicated account manager will reach out within one business day to discuss your shipping volume, needs, and pricing options.
What discounts are available for high-volume shippers? ▼
Business accounts shipping 50+ packages per month qualify for volume discounts starting at 15% off standard rates. Larger volumes receive deeper discounts, priority pickup scheduling, dedicated account management, and API access for shipping automation.
Does DottExp offer API integration? ▼
Yes. Our REST API allows business customers to generate labels, get real-time rates, track shipments, and manage returns directly from their own systems or e-commerce platforms. Full documentation is provided to all business account holders.
